Rocking Horse Chaps began when we searched for a pair of chaps for our grandson’s first birthday over 18 years ago. We could not find any chaps that were quality made leather chaps like real working cowboys wear. So we decided to make a pair for him. Upon seeing the response from everyone we realized there were other people looking for the same thing for their children and grandchildren. We then began making a variety of children’s chaps and chinks and Rocking Horse Chaps was born. Frank has been working in leather crafting and saddle repair for over 18 years. Terrie has been a seamstress for 35 years and does most of the sewing and cutting. All of our work is handcrafted by us in our shop.
